Shirataki. From Japan with no calorie

Shirataki. From Japan with no calorie

By Redazione

Do you like pasta but you can’t (or wont) eat calorie? Well, you can try shirataki, the Japanese pasta.

Shirataki has low level of carbohydrates, no gluten or calorie, but high levels of fiber. So, pasta shirataky is allowed also for peoples with coeliac disease.

Pasta Shirataki is created using the roots of amorphophallus Konjac, a common Asyan plant. Amorphophallus Konjacoffers high doses of glucomanna, a fiber useful for controlling
cholesterol and blood glucose.

And, If you like diversity, Shirataky serves you well. This pasta can be put out of its box and eaten soon, after a washing. There are “two” Shirataky: tofu and yan.

You can eat Shirataki as you like but, for me, the best is Shirataki with italian sugo.

Shirataki can be found in the organic shop.
