Breve introduzione di “Chi sono”
Sono nato a Perak, Malesia il 16 luglio 1979 da una discendenza indiana malese. Ho perso mio padre all’eta’ di 4 anni. Mio padre era un uomo d’affari di successo nel nostro paese, persona molto semplice, ma di grandi valori. Divenne, con l’andare degli anni, il mio modello  di vita, dopo aver ascoltato  storie su di lui da mia madre e dagli zii. Mi hanno ispirato anche libri  come Lee Kuan Yew dove ho imparato a conoscere la forza, Tony Fernandez e imparato a conoscere  la ricerca di opportunità, Donald Trump motivato il mio pensiero creativo e Albert Einstein su come pensare fuori dagli schemi.

La mia Passione … La Mia Vita …

Come uno fra i piu’ giovani Imprenditori Malesi, ho iniziato la mia carriera all’eta’ di 23 anni  fondando un Centro di Educazione e Istruzione Malese mentre finivo il mio master in Università della Malaysia.
Ricordo che  a scuola, il mio soprannome era ‘Neversane’, che secondo i miei amici, significava ‘Pensatore fuori dagli schemi “.
Sono attualmente coinvolto in una joint business diversificata. Ho iniziato la mia carriera come docente di Fisica, ma attualmente mi trovo nel settore IT Information Technology  del settore. Ho configurato la mia prima azienda IT con un partner del settore bancario. Solo nel primo anno abbiamo fatto un turn-over di oltre 2M USD. Successivamente , abbiamo fondato Asianit Worldwide Sdn Bhd (www.asianitworldwide.com), un “bacino”  di soluzioni IT con sede in Malesia e in India. Asianit tutto il mondo si concentra sulle aziende IT e di Istruzione.

Durante la gestione Asianit World Wide, mi è venuta l’idea di sviluppare un portale di viaggio diverso dai soliti portali gia’ in circolazione. Da qui la nascita di Sifu IT Sdn Bhd. http://www.sifuit.com.my – Sifu IT è la mia terza azienda IT in partnership ad un portale di viaggi chiamato http://www.gocuti.com.
Gocuti.com con un solo click  si compone di prenotazioni alberghiere in tutto il mondo, noleggio auto, voli, assicurazione di viaggio, offerte di viaggio e prenotazioni di autobus in Malaysia. E ‘il primo del suo genere da una società asiatica. La nostra missione per questo progetto è quello di andare in tutto il mondo, a cominciare con partner limitrofi e dei paesi europei, in particolare l’Italia come un modo per promuovere la Malesia come destinazione turistica e un luogo strategico per gli investitori. La nostra sede  è a Chennai, India
Non ho mai dimenticato pero’ il mio primo amore, “l’insegnamento”. Dopo lunghe ricerche e studi, e guardando soprattutto alla nuova generazione, ho sviluppato un Online Portal di Lezioni Private chiamato Tuitionprovider.com (www.tuitionprovider.com), facente sempre parte di Asianit Worldwide Sdn Bhd. Tuitionprovider.com collega studente – insegnante attraverso un sistema di confronto logoritmico unico nel suo genere

Interazione – Social Media e Marketing Digitale hanno permesso di afferrare una parte enorme della quota di mercato e  in un breve periodo di tempo siamo diventati leader nel campo delle Lezioni Private su tutto il territorio malese, ad un solo anno della sua apertura. Una delle missioni di questo portale è quello di espandere i servizi offerti a diversi paesi in tutto il mondo grazie anche all’applicazione mobile.

Durante una convention di cominicazione e marketing in KL conobbi la Dott.ssa Federica A. Pellegatti, CEO e Direttore di Palme De Or Sdn Bhd http://www.palmedeor.asia .  PDO e’ una societa’ di nicchia nel settore del trading di olio di palma. Dopo varie discussioni e diversi punti di vista in comune, sono diventato GM nella stessa PDO. Ora, grazie anche alla tenacia della Pellegatti unita alla mia esperienza IT, siamo presenti in diversi paesi nel sud est asiatico e non, quali:  Italia, Regno Unito, Singapore, India, Indonesia e Filippine.
Uno dei miei ultini progetti, che sta piano piano prendendo piede si chiama A Big Room Booking Sdn Bhd (www.abigroom.com). Si tratta di un sistema di prenotazione Internet (IBE) di Hotel, che è visto da molte aziende come un business lucrativo. PayPal Pte Ltd (APAC), Singapore è una delle più grandi società di pagamento internet dagli Stati Uniti, che si e’  rivolta a noi, e di cui noi abbiamo il privilegio di lavorare su una base di partnership per tutte le questioni di pagamento online, permettendo ai nostri potenziali clienti di sfruttare i loro 10 milioni di utenti APAC.

Perché è importante investire in Malesia – in questo momento

Per coloro che desiderano investire i propri fondi in paesi asiatici, si dovrebbe prendere in considerazione la Malesia come una seria ed  alternativa opportunita’  soprattutto nei settori dell’Istruzione, Turismo e Tecnologia, insieme all’ immobiliare.  Si tenga presente che il  Turismo contribuisce con una quota di quasi il 56% delle esportazioni di servizi nel 2014. Questo settore è il settore in più rapida crescita a livello globale secondo secondo World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC). Inoltre l’Istruzione in Malesia si è sviluppata così tanto, ed è un importante contributo al nostro sviluppo economico esportando servizio istruzione all’estero e fornire programmi di istruzione e formazione all’interno del paese. Con il  nostro alto tasso di alfabetizzazione pari al  94,6%  e l’insegnamento della lingua inglese, come la nostra seconda lingua, hanno fatto di questo settore uno dei piu redditizi per investire.

Perché l’Italia è diventato così importante per la Malesia – Considerazioni Personali –

La Malaysia nel 2015 e’ uscita ufficialmente dalla Black List Finanziaria – Inoltre nel Novembre 2015 la stessa Malaysia ha ricevuto il consenso globale ed e’ diventata ufficialmente parte dell’UNESCO. Traguardi non da poco, anche se la strada da percorrere e’ ancora lunga su quanto possa essere “interessante” questo paese. Inoltre con gli sforzi da parte della Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (MATRADE), Malaysian Development Investment Authority (MIDA), Ministero della Scienza, Tecnologia e Innovazione (MOSTI) e il Ministero del Commercio Internazionale e dell’Industria (MITI), i rapporti Malaysia-Italia sono stati rafforzati. Nel giugno di quest’anno, Malaysia e Italia hanno collaborato per aumentare gli investimenti nel settore Bio- Energy Import Export  e rafforzare le comunità di ricerca che si è svolta in concomitanza con Expo Milano 2015. Il rapporto commerciale tra i due Paesi, e’ diventato ancora più forte. Va sottoloneato il fatto  che la Malesia ha approvato un totale di 115 progetti di produzione in diverso settori e sempre  con la partecipazione dell’Italia. La Malesia ha sempre incoraggiato gli investimenti stranieri, dando esenzione fiscale per le imprese di proprietà straniera. In Malesia sono entrati  circa 27.000 turisti italiani  in piu’ fino a luglio di quest’anno, cifre poi in aumento e previste  sino a  45.000 entro la fine dell’anno.

Un mio consiglio per le giovani generazioni circa le opportunità di Business in Malaysia
Non dimentichiamoci che le nuove generazioni con le loro nuove idee hanno opportunita di ottenere finanziamenti ed agevolazioni grazie al supporto di MIDA – MITI – MATRADE e concretizzare cosi i loro sogni. Come ad esempio e’ stato fatto per  Malaysia’s Unicorn “Grab Taxi” e “Uber”. Realta’ gia’ ben radicate e funzionanti.

Brief introduction of “Who I am”
I was born in Perak, Malaysia on 16 July, 1979 to a Malaysian Indian parentage.  Lost my dad before I turned 4 years’ old. He was a successful agricultural businessman in the area we lived. He also became my role model after hearing stories about him from my mother and uncles. I wanted to grow up and be a businessman just like him. That became my motivation to be a successful businessman. I used to also read books on the late Lee Kuan Yew and learned about strength, Tony Fernandez and learned about seeking opportunities, Donald Trump motivated my creative thinking and Albert Einstein on how to think outside the box.

My Passion …..My Life…
Now as an upcoming Malaysian entrepreneur, I started my business career running a Tuition Centre at a young age of 23 while doing my Masters in University of Malaya.
Back in school, my nickname was ‘Neversane’ which according to my friends, meant ‘Out of the Box Thinker’. My ideas and thoughts were always revolutionary and unique and I always try to set new benchmark for all my undertakings. I thank all my friends for encouraging me to cultivate these thinking patterns within me.

I am currently involved in a diversified business venture. I started my career as a Physics Lecturer, but currently I am in Information Technology (IT) industry.  Setting up my first IT company with a partner from the Banking Industry, we made a turn-over of more than USD2Mil within a year. Later, we founded Asianit Worldwide Sdn Bhd (www.asianitworldwide.com), an IT Solution provider with offices in Malaysia and India. Asianit Worldwide focuses on the IT and Education businesses.

While managing Asianit Worldwide, I came up with an idea to develop a travel portal and approached my partner with this idea.  Hence  the birth of Sifu IT Sdn Bhd (www.sifuit.com.my).  Sifu IT is my 3rd co-owned IT company which was established to develop a travel portal called www.gocuti.com.  Gocuti.com is a one stop travel deal comprises of hotel bookings around the world, car rentals, flights, travel insurance, travel deals and bus bookings in Malaysia. It is the first of its kind by an Asian company. Our mission for this project is to go worldwide, starting with partners from neighbouring and the European countries, especially Italy as a way to promote Malaysia as a tourist destination and a strategic place for investors. Our IT office was set up in Chennai, India to manage the cost of development as the software developers are still more competitive in price and quality compared to Malaysia.
But I have never forgotten my first love, ‘teaching’.  After long research and studies, and looking at the new generation, I developed an Online Private Tuition Portal called Tuitionprovider.com (www.tuitionprovider.com) which is a subsidiary of Asianit Worldwide Sdn Bhd.  Tuitionprovider.com provides a very Unique Matching System which helps our Education Consultants to obtain suitable one-to-one private tutor for the parents that matches their specific requirements.

Social media interaction and digital marketing has allowed us to grab a huge portion of the market share within a short period of time. We became Malaysia’s Leading Home Tuition Agency within a year of operation. One of the missions of this portal is to expand its services to various countries across the globe and introduction of mobile app for this.

My first partnership with an Italian lady, Dr. Federica A. Pellegatti, CEO & Director of Palme De Or Sdn Bhd had me sitting as the Director and General Manager of the company. Palme De Or is in the business of palm oil trading and financial consulting to Europe, United Kingdom, Singapore, India, Indonesia and the Philippines.

My latest project which is targeted to see the day of light sometime early January 2016, is called A Big Room Booking Sdn Bhd (www.abigroom.com).  This is an internet booking engine (IBE) for hotels which is viewed by many companies as a lucrative business.  PayPal Pte Ltd (APAC), Singapore is one of the largest internet payment companies from the United States, also approached us to work on a partnership basis for all online payment matters, allowing our potential clients to tap into their 10 million APAC users.

Why is it important to invest in Malaysia – right now
For those who wish to invest your funds in Asian countries, should consider Malaysia as a serious option especially in the education, travel and technology sectors while manufacturing & real estate have always been the favorite for investors. Travel and tourism share contributes to almost 56% of service exports in 2014. This sector is the second fastest growing sector globally according to World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC). Education in Malaysia has developed so much, and is a major contributor to our economic development by exporting education service overseas and providing education and training programmes within the country. With our high literacy rate of 94.6% and teaching of English as our second language, made this sector more lucrative to invest.

Why Italy became so important for Malaysia – Personal Consideration
In order to reduce the ‘red tape’ across all related Ministries and agencies, SME Corporation which was established to spur the development of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) to be competitive in the global market. While another government agency, Malaysian Investment Development Authority (MIDA) was set up to assist investors for direct consultation and co-operation with relevant agencies at both, the Federal and State levels, securing infrastructural facilities, to handhold and assist investors in obtaining all necessary approvals for projects until they are operational. With the efforts by the Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (MATRADE), Malaysian Investment Development Authority (MIDA), Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MOSTI) and Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI), the Malaysia-Italy relations have been strengthened.  In June this year, Malaysia and Italy partnered to boost investments in bio-based industry and strengthen research communities which was held in conjunction with Expo Milano 2015.  The business relationship between the two countries, have become even stronger. Since Malaysia has approved a total of 115 manufacturing projects until 2014 with the participation from Italy, it only proves that investment from Italy in Malaysia has been increasing. Malaysia has always been encouraging foreign investment by giving tax exemption to foreign owned companies. Malaysia also received about 27,000 plus Italian tourists until July this year and the figures were expected to increase to 45,000 by year-end and I believe the effort by the government to promote Malaysia as travel and business destination is working as planned.

My advice to the young generation about business opportunities
Younger generations these days have the privilege to obtain funding to materialize their ideas like Malaysia’s Unicorn “Grab Taxi” and “Uber”, who have made it big through these sort of funding which is easily obtainable nowadays if the idea is found viable.

That is why I personally invite you to contact us to “share” a different point of view and also the many opportunities which can be offered to us both, in terms of business.  I call upon the new generation to practice this quote in their life, “If you don’t fight for what you want, don‘t cry for what you have lost”.
