SAN COLOMBANO AL LAMBRO (Milan) – The DOC San Colombano 2007 and the DOC San Colombano Reserve 2004
from  Pietrasanta Cellar Wines and Spirits in San Colombano al Lambro, are the wines decolling with destination New York and Miami.

These are the two wines with which Carlo Pietrasanta has taken part in the plan of The Speaking Wine  proposed by Autoctono. These bottles have a multipage back label that  really ‘’speaks’’ and is a sort of removable
booklet speaking about the wine  that is tasted , so that one drinks and gets informed at the same time. On these precious pages there are information about
the  producer, the vinification, the crop, the territory, the vine and of course about the wine and the food to propose with it on the table.

These bottles in their very fashionable aspect have already been  shown at the Ottogono and at
the Westin Palace in Milan, and at Grand Hotel St. Regis in the great Roman capital, where they  met the good opinion of  lovers,
buyers and importers. Since the multipage labels are available also in English, the last week of January they will introduce themselves  to the American
market thanks to a series of  BtoB meetings organized by the Regione Lombardia together with the I.C.E.

When they come back, they have another important appointment in The big Rome: At Palazzo Montecitorio. On 18th
February together with the Municipality of Maleo, that organizes the event Villa Trecchi’s Art and Wine, will be presented the excellences of this Lombardic territory.

Another novelty of  the year 2009 that has just started, is that on Sunday 18th
January, The Barricaia Pietrasanta, will have as guests its own customers and ‘’enonauti’’ in order indicate the new tasting appointments  during the year 2009. In Barricaia you will find a corner of Italy to taste, private collection of the owner. The ” Gran Risotto”  will be
the protagonist of the gastronomic combinations and it will be presented according to the season and with the ingredients and tastes of the territory. There will also be the traditional
homemade cakes and the cutting board with charcuterie, cheese and preserves.
