BIOFACH 2014 – Family Farming

1) BIOFACH pre-event: This event will be focused on Family Farming. Organized in collaboration with other organizations (IFOAM, Fairtrade International, FAO, LOA) the event will present the values of Organic and Fairtrade connected to the topic of Family Farming, starting from concrete cases.

2) Family Farming Show – Performance: A video exhibition with selected case studies on Organic and Fairtrade Family Farming, will be performed through a live show with actors 4 times a day, following the show the partners of the initiative are invited for organization of events (seminars, presentations, taste-show, etc) of 20 minutes with the collaboration of the actors.

An event of the UN International Year of Family Farming looking at the farmers’ perspective to assure sourcing while developing Organic 3.0: For Europe/US and for the countries from the Global South.

5) Family Farming Celebration: during the BioFach Blue Night (), a reception with music and food to celebrate the values of Organic and Fairtrade Family Farming.
