Eating too much? Write down can be the remedy
Writing the remedy (i.e. detailed physical activity) to stop the gourging so common during Christmas and New Year’s Eve.
This hint comes form a research of the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health (Baltimora, USA), led by Sara Bleich and published by “American Journal of Public Health”.
In dr Bleich’s opinion, to stop overeating you must write (old way: pen and paper) the Physical activity to eradicate the obtained weight. It works more than reading calorie on the nutrition
Example: a fifteen years old girl drinks a sugar-sweetened beverages. To eliminate the newfound calorie, she can job (50 min.) or biking (73 min.) or walk (120 min.). It works more than reading
calorie on the nutrition facts label. Knowing the future “physical punisment” the 15 years old girl has up to 50% less chances to choose the fizzy drink.
So, the scientist said exposing this fact (and writing it down) can help people eat less.
