Thomas Cook signs contract with Atos Origin
Essen – Thomas Cook AG, Germany’s second largest travel and tourism provider, has signed a double-digit million euro contract with the international IT services company Atos Origin,
which will assume responsibility for providing the tourism group’s mainframe services for a period of five years beginning in 2008.

Thomas Cook will use Atos Origin’s European Mainframe Hub, a new high-security data-processing centre in Essen. This twin data centre will provide data processing services for customers

The IT services company, which handles the IT requirements for the Olympic Games among other important organizations, already has an established track record of working with Thomas Cook and
other leading companies in the travel and tourism sector.
