Paula Sussex appointed as Head of Atos Consulting in the UK
London – Atos Origin, an international IT services company, today announced that Paula Sussex has been promoted to Head of Atos Consulting in the UK, with immediate effect. Paula will
become a member of the UK executive board reporting to Keith Wilman, CEO for Atos Origin in the UK. She will also play a key role in implementing the strategy for Atos Consulting globally.
Paula will continue to realise the division’s value across Atos Origin’s entire IT and services client base, both in delivery and in supporting sales of complex, major or transformational
programmes. In line with the Company’s global strategy, she will also focus on continuing to improve the business performance and on increasing penetration in sectors and solutions where Atos
Consulting leads the market in both the public and private sectors. She will work with the Atos Consulting global management team to further grow the business internationally and to ensure
delivery to clients world-wide.
Commenting on the appointment, Keith Wilman, Atos Origin’s UK CEO, said: «I am delighted that Atos Consulting starts 2008 under the leadership of a colleague with a proven track record in
both consulting and outsourcing. Paula brings a combination of client focus, a determination to deliver, and excellent people skills to Atos Consulting. Her appointment is testament not only to
the results she has achieved to date, but also to the confidence of the people she has worked with – a talent that will serve her well in her new role of moving the business forward.»
Paula has worked in most areas of Atos Origin and one of its predecessor firms, KPMG Consulting: in the strategy practice of KPMG Consulting, in its telecommunications and technology business,
in the public sector consulting practice, and as Account Director for some of Atos Origin’s IT service clients, such as the UK Passport Agency. Her most recent role was as Account Director for
the Ministry of Justice. In addition to her leadership and delivery skills, she has amply proved her ability to sell to both the company’s public and private sector clients in the UK, Europe
and SE Asia and in the developing economies.
Prior to her joining KPMG, Paula trained as a management consultant with Coopers & Lybrand, having first qualified as a barrister. She also holds a Sloan Masters Degree from London Business
School. In her spare time, she is a trustee of Crisis, the charity for single homeless people.
«Both on its own and when it teams up with our systems integration and managed operations businesses, Atos Consulting delivers exceptional value to its clients,» commented Paula.
«There is simply no other services company to compare with our breadth and depth of expertise and I am thrilled to have the opportunity to lead such a strong team of management
consultants and to take this value out to market.»
