London, 3 January 2008 -Atos Origin, an international IT services company, today announced that it has won a five year contract worth
£75 million with the Highways Agency, an Executive Agency of the Department for Transport that is responsible for operating,
maintaining and improving the strategic road network of England.

Through outsourcing its IT infrastructure to Atos Origin, the Agency hopes to save a minimum 15% of their annual IT budget. Atos Origin will manage and transform the Agency’s IT infrastructure
and applications including on-going support of a large, complex suite of back office applications. Under the contract, the IT infrastructure and 120 staff will transfer to Atos Origin.

the client environment across all of the Highways Agency, enabling software to be uploaded and problems to be solved remotely. It also provides flexible access to corporate resources from
desktop and mobile devices.

«This contract consolidates Atos Origin’s position as leading provider to both the UK Public Sector and the Transport industry,» said Anne Ware, head of Public Sector at Atos
Origin. «We are committed to delivering sustainable services to our clients and will work with the Highways Agency to ensure that technology enables them to meet their business
aspirations.»
